Suzi Tattuzi
Cartoon-ish picture based on a photo from the benefit show last weekend. I haven’t decided how to do her tattoos, so right now the visible arm is all plain, hope to sort that one out later. Pretty fun.

Finding Your Niche
I found this one in Newberry while we were waiting for a table at the barbeque joint.

Also, pictures from Suzifest are up: http://picasaweb.google.com/hmfullen/TattuziBenefitShow_20May2007

Fishy, Fishy, Fishy, Fish
Got some new fishes for the tank! Some type of cichlids (a friend has some that have been breeding), peacock cichlids, I think. They are settling in now, and so far haven’t been picking on the catfish, which is good. Ryan has his take on the fishtank.
Also took my human resources management final, got an 80 (of 100). Still have to take my economics final this week. Bleh.

Pictures from Birthday Dinner A
These are from the birthday dinner held Friday. There was another birthday/mother’s day lunch on Saturday, from which there are not pictures. Also a mother’s day brunch, and mother’s day afternoon food eating, on Sunday, from which there are not pictures.

Plants!!
So today we started our garden (which we are calling a victory garden) with some herbs. Given that the weather here can fluctuate mightily, everything is in containers so it can easily be shuffled around to protect it from the elements (and so that they can be protected from the puppy). In between Mother’s day events, we hit up the nursery and got some plants, and the home improvement store to get sawhorses and some treated plywood (to make a temporary elevated table to put the containers on out on the patio in the sun).
We rushed home from our last errands hoping to get there in time to get the plants transplanted to their new clay pots and outside before the rain started (it was wonderful, wonderful rain which we needed badly). We managed to time it perfectly.
Here’s what we have so far:
- peppermint
- thai basil (of the ‘siam queen’ variety)
- chives
- pineapple sage
- fernleaf dill
- rosemary
And on the non-herb side, we have some sweet pepper seedlings that will hopefully flourish. Hope to take some photos soon when I get a few free minutes.

Recursing Leopard
As you may know, I have a leopard. If you read that post carefully, you also might know that this leopard came to me complete with pajamas. Leopard printed pajamas. I finally got around to putting the cat’s pajamas on said cat, and took some photos. Some time in the future I’ll put the leopard in it’s pirate costume and take a picture or two of that.

Tanked
55 gallons baby. Some friends came over after dinner and helped us get the stand assembled and the tank filled. The filter is running now to clear up the dust that we couldn’t manage to rinse off of the gravel.
After it all settles and the water conditioner does it’s thing, we are getting some fishies and plants and what not. Rock on.

Zombie Head Update
She’s green now! Next I’m going to mix some silver-grey glaze with a bit of light blue and sort of sponge it on to give it a sickly sheen. Yum.
